How We Clean

Simple, hot water extraction. Also called steam cleaning. Hot water extraction is recommended by most carpet manufacturer’s. Always check your carpet manufacturer care instructions.   Here is how it works:

  • A specially formulated pre-spray is applied, helping break down soil, oils and grime.
  • Light agitation with a grooming brush is applied as needed.
  • The pre-spray is extracted by quickly applying and extracting extremely hot water.
  • The results is a clean, well rinsed carpet, rug, or furniture area.

What is the best way to clean your carpet?

The best answer will come from the carpet manufacturer care instructions. Hot water extraction is recommended by most carpet manufacturer’s because research indicates that hot water extraction provides the best clean while extending your carpet life. Some carpet manufacturer’s require your carpet to be cleaned using “hot water extraction” for them to full fill warranty requests.

How often should I clean my carpet?

Carpet in light to medium traffic households should be cleaned every  12 to  18 months.   If you have pets and or children you may want to follow high traffic recommendations for carpet cleaning [every 8 to 12 months depending on how many people and pets].  Choosing the cleaning system that your carpet manufacturer recommends is important.  If you use a different system, it may leave behind residues which can accelerate re-soiling, and shorten the life of your carpet.

Once again, the best answer will come from the carpet manufacturer care instructions and if you are considered a high traffic or low traffic user.
